Android Malware discovered targeting over 232 banking apps including Indian banks

An Android malware has been targeting over 232 banking apps including HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank, Quick Heal Security Labs has detected. Here's the list of all Indian banking apps and tips to stay safe.

Quick Heal details the malware in a blog post, saying that the Android.banker.A2f8a malware is being distributed through a fake Flash Player app on third-party stores. This isn't the first time a malware is being spread through Flash. A few months ago, a ransomware called BadRabbit was being spread across Eastern Europe through Flash.
