BSNL To Deploy 1 Lakh WiFi Hotpots By 2018 End

With the arrival of Reliance Jio, the use of Internet connectivity and data usage in India has improved. Due to the efforts of Geo and Digital India, internet access is now available in many areas of the country. By adopting the same route, the country’s public sector company, Bharti Communication Corporation Limited (BSNL) has planned to introduce 100,000 WiFi hot spots across the country by the end of 2018.
BSNL has planned that by the end of 2018, the public space of the country is also being trapped in the Internet and rural areas along with cities are also connected to WiFi. Under the 100,000 WiFi Hot-Spot Digital India Drive in the country, people will be able to access fast access internet data at reasonable rates. It is being said that for being a government company and promoting digital India, this Internet data will be given to people at a low price.

Have Missed 18000 WiFi:

According to the BSNL chairman, the company has already made 18,000 WiFi spots in different states of the country. This number has reached 18,000 this week and the service of WiFi has started in Udwada village of Gujarat’s Valsad district. It is worth mentioning that the population of this village is close to 6000 and the Internet is provided by covering 90% of the WiFi hot-spot area attached.

Target To Connect Railway Station, Bus Stand And Markets To The Internet:

As per BSNL’s plan, WiFi facility will be introduced in different districts of India by December 2018. The government is working on connecting railway stations, bus stations and markets with the Internet.
