Bimper offers Reliance Jio for next 18 months

JIO can remain on its blueprint for next 12 to 18 months. It may also be that the company will make Tehelka once again in Telecom Sector from Complimentary Service and offers.

Experts say Reliance will take full charge to acquire 15 percent of the wireless subscriber base, which will suffer from other telecom companies like Airtel and Vodafone.

According to American firm Morgan Stanley, if Reliance does so, its direct impact will be on customer revenue (ARPU) towards Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea. It will have the effect that ARPU of other companies can be limited to 300 rupees other than Geo. It has been reported in the report that Geo has stepped into the Indian telecom sector on September 5 and so far the company has achieved 6% wireless subscriber market, but the company's target is 15%.

In March, Geo had targeted the telecom industry's half-revenue market share by 2020-2021, while the end of the December quarter, Airtel had 33.1 per cent, Vodafone got 23.5 per cent and Idea had revenue market share of 18.7 per cent.

Experts believe that Geo has 100 million subscribers in the first 170 days after launch. Talking about the average, 6 lakh subscribers are getting connected to live every day. As of 31st March, the number of customers in Geo has reached 10.9 million. That is, 90 million people are connected to Geo in 40 days. Talk about the average, then 2.25 lakh per day. In such a scenario, the speed of customers joining the live has reduced, given that the company can offer new offers or retain complimentary and surprise offers.
